The production of Vinsanto of Chianti Classico DOC Marchese Antinori uses traditional grapes from the Chianti area, primarily Sangiovese and Trebbiano. Fermentation occurs naturally using indigenous yeast strains and lasts for approximately 2 months in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures for at least 5 years in small oak barrels, giving the wine a soft and complex character. The vinification follows strict quality criteria and the production zone is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti. The vineyards are situated on soils with a clay-limestone composition and enjoy excellent sun exposure.

On tasting, the Vinsanto of Chianti Classico DOC Marchese Antinori has an intense and shiny amber color. On the nose, notes of dried fruit such as nuts and almonds emerge, accompanied by sweet honey and spice scents. On the palate, nuances of caramel and toasted aromas are perceived, with a pleasant sweetness that is balanced by acidity for freshness. This wine has a considerable longevity and can be stored for several years. It is recommended to be enjoyed on its own as a meditation wine or with almond and dark chocolate desserts.
